Girls ridin on the back of your motorcycle? Gotta have a cute round butt!?
When it really comes down to it, nobody likes havin a passenger on back…makes you slower, harder to brake and steer, and you burn more gas. But girls are like accessories, right? They look good, just like a mirrored windscreen, carbon fiber pipes…and a cute round butt. It does not even matter if they got a good lookin face…cuz its covered by a helmet. So really whats important is the girls butt. The way the back seat on a crotch rocket is angled makes her butt stick out…its hot lookin. And a nice blonde ponytail stickin out the back of the helmet looks good too.
Only stupid girls agree to be a motorcycle accessory.
The smart ones don't give a shit - or they get their own.
Painting my bike helmet…what type of paint?
I am a pretty advanced airbrusher and looking to get into painting helmets.
I bought a used bike helmet from the salvation army to practice on. It is really a bicycle helmet, not motorcycle. It didn't have that shiny clear coat you see on professional bike helmets. I bought some Dupli-color Paint Shop Finish System paint from my local auto parts store. I did my usual taping of the design and then hit it with two layers of jet black and 3 layers of clear coat.
It doesn't have that professional shine…is this due to the original paint? should I have used a primer?
Here is the big issue. The paint chips really easily. If you were to rub it the wrong way, it chips!! Also when removing the tape, the edges are not sharp at all and sometimes the paint came up with the paint making the helmet look like…well sh*t.
Is the paint I'm using the problem or the existing surface of the helmet? And why is the paint lifting up with the tape? [I used masking tape rather than blue paint tape]
You sand (abraid) the original surface with 300 grit then prime and sand with 600 grit paper before applying the base coat.
Motorcycle helmet? 10 points Awarded for answer!?
I have a shoei honda lanehawk 1975 helmet. Where could I get some replacement padding for the inside of the helmet? Links would be helpful. Best answer Gets 10 Points so answer fast!
The helmet is fit for the bin and nowhere else.
A top helmet [ RX7 , quantum , XR100 etc ] is good for 5 years life MAX.
Your lid is no better then wearing nothing at all.
The reason for the " padding" been knackered is because the the shell and everything else is knackered.
If you want to were that old skid pan on the road, you are a fool.
Sorry if the truth hurts.
